Crispy cheesy crackers/ biscuits

Crispy cheesy crackers/ biscuits

I have tried all sorts of cookies in past 3 months. But have been craving personally for some salty ones. One what better than cheese crackers came to my mind. Then went to my best friend "google" to ask for some good recipe of cheese crackers. Apparently none of them were appealing. So thought of trying and shaking upon something myself.

Mixed few ingredients I thought would go well in these crackers and trust me these are the best cheese crackers I have had in my life.. Absolutely crunchy, melt in mouth and it feels like you are biting a bar of baked cheese...:)doesn't this sounds heaven. So there you go for the recipe...:)

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- salt 1/2 tsp.
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. mixed herbs
- 3/4 cup plain flour/maida

Process
1. Take a bowl add butter and beat till creamy and fluffy.
2. Add grated cheddar cheese, and mix both very well, with the help of a whisk or fork.
3. Add salt, pepper, herbs, parsley and mix well.
4. Add flour and using your hand mix it to form a nice firm dough.
5. Freeze it for about 25-30 minutes.
6. Take small portions and placed on a baking tray lined with butter paper.
7. Flatten the portions a little using your fingers.
8. Bake them on a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 20+ minutes. Till the cookies are light brown in colour.
9. Let them cool before you grab them.

Your most cheesilicious cookies/crackers are ready..:) :)

Tips- 1. You can use combination of cheddar and Parmesan
2. You can season them with chilli flakes, cumin seeds, chilli powder
3. These cookies will spread a lot, so keep enough space between them while baking.
